The UFC is close to announcing an important duel for the heavyweight category (up to 120kg). At 32 years old, Gane would have the support of the public present in his country to try to recover from the defeat suffered by Francis Ngannou, in the fight for the linear heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg.), in the UFC 270 in January. The Frenchman now has a record of ten triumphs and only one setback in his career in MMA, which began in 2018.

On the other hand, Tuivasa is in his best phase in Ultimate. The New Zealander is coming off a victory over Derrick Lewis No. UFC 271 in February and, as a bonus, accumulates a sequence of five positive results in a row. The fighter, who began his career in mixed martial arts in 2012, has a record of 13 wins and three losses in his career.

Besides 'Gane x Tuivasa', the UFC has not yet officially announced other fights for the card. The organization's idea is to expand horizons and, after promoting a successful event in England, it also arrives in France with the country's main name.
