The 18th season of TUF began airing in the United States last week, but the coaches for the 19th edition of the program have already been defined. On Wednesday night (11) Dana White, president of the franchise, announced that Frankie Edgar e B.J. Penn will lead the teams on the reality show.
Initially, the UFC's idea was for Edgar to move down to bantamweight and face Urijah faber of TUF, but the former lightweight champion did not agree to go down in weight again. Then, BJ, who hasn't fought since December 2012, got in touch with White and asked to face Edgar.

In the first duel, in April 2010, at UFC 112, Edgar beat Penn in a controversial decision by the judges and took the BJ belt. In the rematch, which took place at UFC 118, in August of the same year, Frankie dominated the fight and beat the veteran fighter again in the decision.
