With new show, Bruno Cappelozza debuted in the regular season of PFL 2022. Executioner of Stuart Austin last Thursday (28), the Brazilian revealed that he had a noble reason as motivation to continue shining in his career. After massacring his rival in his last performance, the fighter stated that he will continue to do his best to honor his father, João Roberto Cappelozza, who passed away at the end of 2021.

“I am extremely happy. It's an incredible feeling. This is me following my dreams and my father's dreams. It's simply to honor my father. He worked his whole life for this, so I could follow my dreams. All I need is to make him proud and work”, said the athlete, after beating Stuart Austin with a knockout in the first round.
The victory in PFL 2022 #2 made Bruno repeat last year's initial script. In his debut, the Brazilian ran over Before Delija, also in the first round.
With the triumph, the Brazilian added six points in the regular season and put himself in a good position to advance to the knockout stage. Last season, Cappelozza had a perfect season in the organization, with four triumphs, which culminated in winning the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg), in addition to the dream check of US$1 million (around R$5 million), given to the winner of the tournament.
Hired by PFL in 2021, Bruno doesn't know what it's like to lose in the company. So far, there are five positive results, with four knockouts.
