Despite the good debut in Ultimate, with a victory over Felipe Sertanejo in Belo Horizonte on September 4th, Kevin Souza left the fight with a fractured left hand. Using your profile on Twitter, the fighter himself revealed that he will undergo surgery this Wednesday (11).
“Leaving for surgery, today at 12 pm”, wrote Kevin on the microblogging network, along with a reproduction of the x-ray of his fractured hand. Almost immediately, the fighter received the support of Wallid Ismail, president of the Jungle Fight, an event he played for before the UFC. “Good surgery, Warrior,” replied Wallid.
Edimilson “Kevin” Souza has a record of 14 wins and three losses. The Bahian won the UFC featherweight belt Jungle Fight in April, but he didn't even defend his title – having transferred and debuted in the UFC months later.
