Average weight (up to 83,9kg.) André Sergipano He had a scare last Sunday (24), when he suffered a bus accident while traveling to Rio de Janeiro. In his Instagram 'stories', the Brazilian tried to explain what happened and reassure his fans.

André explained that a vehicle entered the lane in the wrong direction and hit the bus he was on, causing the accident due to the high speed. Still, Sergipano revealed that he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and, therefore, did not suffer anything serious from the impact of the crash.
Thirteenth place in the middleweight rankings, André Sergipano goes into the duel riding on eight consecutive victories, the last four in the UFC Octagon. Owner of a record of 22 wins and just four losses, the jiu-jitsu specialist has three submissions followed by armbar, all of them in the first round.
He was even scheduled to face Uriah Hall at an event in UFC Las Vegas 51, which occurred on April 16. The American, however, left the fight and Sergipano ended up leaving the card.
