In a great phase at Bellator, Corey Anderson suggests Dana White regrets his release from the UFC

After a good performance against Vadim Nemkov, even with a 'no contest', the American highlights a new moment in his career; fighter is light heavyweight GP finalist

Even with the 'bitter I didn't answer' in the confrontation against Vadim nemkov, Bellator 277, Corey anderson finds reasons to celebrate the good moment in his career. After a good performance against the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) in the Grand Prix final, which ended 'no result', the American sent a message to his former boss, Dana White. In an interview with 'MMA fighting', the athlete questioned the fact that he was released to the competitor by the UFC official.

“In my head, I wonder how Dana White feels right now. I wonder if he saw the fight (against Nemkov). He may not have seen it, but I wonder if he regrets letting me leave (the UFC). Does he regret not putting a lot of energy into promoting me like he did other guys? Now they can see what I can do,” Anderson said.

Bitter, regarding his time in the UFC, Corey continued. Undefeated in his career in Bellator, the athlete continued to exude confidence in his recent achievements.

“I don't miss the UFC, but I think about what it could have been like if the organization supported me. What could have happened? They and everyone else can see it. Corey is the best. You can’t deny it,” he signed off.

On April 15, Anderson climbed into the circular cage to compete in the light heavyweight GP final. In addition to the opportunity to win the tournament, the athlete could become the grand champion of the category.

In the confrontation, Corey managed to put his strategy into play. The American controlled much of the confrontation against the belt holder, but, in the third round, an unintentional headbutt opened a cut on Vadim's eyebrow, which was not authorized by the medical team to return to the fight.

With the champion unable to fight, the referee was left with the decision to interrupt the confrontation. With that, the 'I didn't answer' was applied and, according to the rule, the Russian, who was at a clear disadvantage in the fight, continued with the title. Furthermore, the GP also remains without a champion.
