STRONG IMAGE: Fighter loses tooth in bloody duel at UFC Las Vegas 51

Despite the 'injury', Swedish Pannie Kianzad emerged victorious from the fight against compatriot Lina Lansberg

The victory over Lina Lansberg on the preliminary card of UFC Las Vegas 51, last Saturday (16), charged a price of Pannie kianzad. In addition to a deep cut on her nose, the Swede left the Octagon with one tooth missing after the bloody duel against her compatriot.

Kianzad, however, does not seem to have cared much about the “damage”. The Swedish woman published, on her official Instagram profile, a photo pointing to the space left by the lost tooth.

Still at UFC Apex, the event's stage, Pannie kianzad He appeared wearing dental prosthetics to give a press conference after the fight. The Swede said she felt strong to continue the fight and come away with victory.

“I cut her at the beginning of the fight, then I cut myself and everything was bleeding. I felt quick and strong to overcome the things I thought I might have problems with. This means that everything I worked on really worked”, declared the fighter.

Losing teeth during fights is not exactly unheard of in Kianzad's life. During the 28th season of The Ultimate Fighter, the Swede lost a front tooth in her fight against German Katharina Lehner and started using a prosthesis in place of one of her teeth.
