It was with (a lot of) emotion. The Brazilian's debut Caio Borralho in the UFC he had it all. In the co-main event of UFC Las Vegas 51, this Saturday (16), he dominated the previously undefeated Gadzhi Omargadzhiev during three rounds. However, in the final moments, the Brazilian athlete performed an illegal blow and ran the risk of being disqualified. But it ended with victory in the judges' decision.

In the fight, Omargadzhiev quickly went for the takedown. But Caio quickly reversed and ended up on top on the ground. The Brazilian got to the back and was close to locking in the rear naked choke. In the second round, Borralho was even better. He landed hard blows on top that shook the Russian. The Brazilian still dominated his rival on the ground again. Gadzhi arrived in the third round ready for all or nothing. But he fell alone on two occasions. In the final moments of the fight, however, Caio dominated his rival and kneed his opponent in the head, who was on three supports. The referee stopped the duel, as it was an illegal blow. Omargadzhiev claimed that he was unable to return and was feeling the blow very much.

The referee could then decide whether to disqualify Caio Borralho or he would take away a blow from the Brazilian for the illegal blow and the judges would judge the winner. He opted for the second option and Caio was declared the winner.
