“The fight was perfect for me. I dominated an undefeated guy from Dagestan. You don't see that much, right? I was perfect in stand-up fighting and ground control. I trained with Demian Maia and I was able to show the world that I'm not just the stand-up guy. If you try to put me down, you will have a problem”, said Borralho.

Caio did not feel the weight of his debut. Light and strategic, the Brazilian showed great preparation and doesn't want the 'anticlimax' of the outcome to get in the way of celebrating his triumph.

“I'm ok with the win, but slightly frustrated. There was only one more minute left and I had a perfect fight. It was a monologue. This won't take away my shine, because everyone saw that I was dominant against a tough guy. It just wasn't perfect because of the way it ended. I could use a little more attention, but that's how it is. I’m ready for the next one,” he concluded.

Discovered on the 'Contender Series', Caio Borralho He showed that he has the quality to compete at a high level in Ultimate and achieved his 11th victory in his career. He also has one defeat and one 'no contest' in his career in mixed martial arts.
