Nothing controversial. Bellator President Scott Coker admitted the balance in the rematch between Patrick Pitbull e A. J. McKee for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg), but recognized the Brazilian as the legitimate champion of the division. In a press conference after the show this Friday (15), the 'boss' analyzed the result that returned the title to Tupiniquim.

“The judges saw it their way, and he (Patrício) is the new champion. As far as I know, he deserves it. It was a very balanced, technical fight. It's not my job to score. That's the judges' job. I talked to some friends and half of them scheduled the confrontation for AJ and the other for Pitbull”, said the agent.

No Bellator 277, Patrício climbed into the circular cage for one of the biggest challenges of his career. After being harshly dethroned in July 2021, the Tupiniquim managed to recover and beat the North American on points, in a unanimous decision by the judges.

The main fight of this Friday's show was marked by balance. The stars of the show sought a positive result during 25 minutes of confrontation.
