Brazil started badly with its representatives on the preliminary card of the Bellator 277, held this Friday (15), in San Jose (USA). Former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) of the company, Raphael Carvalho and Rhalan Gracie disappointed and ended up knocked out in their commitments. The stumbles happened to Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov and Tyson Miller, respectively.

Considered one of the biggest bets for the future of Bellator, Aaron Pico once again put on a show in the circular cage. Facing Adli Edwards, selected at the last minute for the event, the organization's pupil asserted his widespread favoritism and punished his opponent for just over 10 minutes. Confident and forceful, the promise emerged victorious with a technical knockout in the third round.

With the victory, Pico defended fourth place in the featherweight rankings. In addition to the achievement, the fighter extended his undefeated streak to six fights.

Victim of Aaron's visible quality, Adli had no chance against the candidate for a future title fight. With the stumble on his debut, the athlete's run of seven victories ended.

A promise from the organization, the fighter 'ruined' Calob Ramirez's debut, and in a resounding way. Aggressive, the athlete 'erased' his opponent with a devastating knockout in the second round.

The victory of Seronio, 23 years old, extended the unbeaten streak in the fighter's promising career. Now, the young man has two consecutive victories in his MMA career.

Overrun in his debut with the company, Ramirez was unable to get back on track to winning ways. With the stumble, the athlete suffered two setbacks in three performances in mixed martial arts.

Bolanos runs over in rematch and avoids bad moment

Finished by Daniel Carey 2019, Gaston Bolanos got his revenge in style. In a fight contested at catchweight (up to 66,2kg), the fighter proved his reputation as a knockout artist and massacred his opponent. The triumph came with a tough knockout at the end of the first round.

Opponent of Alberto Mendez, the athlete was not scared, but needed three rounds to achieve another positive result. After 15 minutes, the combatant was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.

The triumph represented Santos' second appearance as a professional in MMA. The athlete remains undefeated in his career.

In his second challenge in mixed martial arts, Mendez failed to shine. The defeat in the judges' decision now leaves the fighter with a stumble, a 'no contest' and no triumph.

A featherweight athlete (up to 65,7kg), Rogelio Luna will forever remember his debut as a professional in MMA. Inserted on the preliminary card, the fighter had an insane confrontation against Socrates Hernandez. Those who followed the fight witnessed an epic beating, ending with a technical knockout in the third round.

The triumph marks the first positive result in Luna's career. As an amateur athlete, Rogelio had three triumphs and one stumble.

Defeated on the show, Hernandez continues without winning as a professional in mixed martial arts. The athlete now has two setbacks in a row.
