In an even duel and considered one of the best of the year so far, Chimaev managed to impose a strong pace and difference in size against Durinho. With this, he left 11th place in the ranking, rose eight positions and now occupies third place. The fighter has five appearances in the organization, with two knockouts, two submissions and only one fight won on points – precisely against the Brazilian.

Gilbert, in turn, will have to rebuild his path to get a new fight for the welterweight belt. Previously in second place, the Brazilian dropped two positions and is fourth, behind Colby covington, Leon edwards e Khamzat Shimaev, in addition to the champion Kamaru Usman.
