The list of fighters sidelined due to medical suspension at UFC Fight Night 27 is small compared to the norm. However, two athletes may be out of action indefinitely. The curious thing is that both were winners in the event that was played on Wednesday night.
the american Court mcgee, who beat New Zealander Robert whittaker, and Australian Dylan Andrews, who knocked out Swede Papy Abedi, received the longest hooks. The Indiana State Athletic Commission, the body that regulated the event, did not disclose the injuries suffered by the fighters, but reported that they will only be released with a doctor's note.
Among the other five suspended, Abedi and Roger Bowling received the longest suspensions. Both will be out of action for 60 days, but Abedi can return to contact training in half that time. Bowling, who left the octagon victim of an illegal knee, will have to serve the entire suspension without physical contact.
