the show of Alexander Volkanovsky last Saturday (9), an event in which the Australian 'walked' against Chan sung jung and defended the featherweight title for the third time, raised a question by an internet user, which bothered Jon Jones. On Twitter, the legend had his legacy compared to that of the star of the under-65,7kg category, and wasted no time in responding to the provocation.

“Volkanovski will take his place on the list of 'best in MMA history,” wrote one internet user.
Light heavyweight legend (up to 93kg.) and considered, by many, as the greatest representative of the sport of all time, 'Bones' decided to fight back. With irony, the North American responded to the publication.
“How many title defenses does he have?” Jon replied.
Last weekend, Volkanovski reached the milestone of three title defenses. With the dominant victory against Sung, the Australian extended his good form and added 21 consecutive victories in his career in the sport.
Out of light heavyweight since the end of 2020 and without fighting professionally for more than two years, Jones, for years, shone in the 93kg division. In the category, Jon has 10 throne defenses.
Without acting since UFC 247, Jon is preparing for his long-awaited debut in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg.) of Ultimate. The legend, however, has no confirmed date for his debut in the group today, led by Francis Ngannou.
