The relaunch of Ultimate on Wednesday nights, with UFC Fight Night 27, provided fans with good fights and culminated in the main fight of the night, between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann. The welterweights won the best fight of the night bonus, worth US$50 (around R$115) for each of the athletes.
In addition to this bonus, after the event, president Dana White also announced the names of the winners of the other two awards of the night: Zack Cummings, who beat Ben Alloway with an inverted triangle triangle, won the “Submission of the Night” bonus and the debutant Brandon thatch his knockout over Justin Edwards was chosen as the best of the event. Both also earned US$50 (approximately R$115).

Carlos Condit defeated Martin Kampmann via TKO in R4;
Rafael dos Anjos derrotou Donald Cerrone in the unanimous decision of the judges;
Kelvin Gastelum submitted Brian Melancon with a rear naked choke in R1;
Court mcgee derrotou Robert whittaker in the judges' split decision;
Takeya Mizugaki defeated Erik Perez via split decision;
Brad Tavares defeated Bubba McDaniel via unanimous decision.
PRELIMINARY CARD
Dylan Andrews defeated Papy Abedi by technical knockout in R3;
Brandon thatch defeated Justin Edwards via TKO in R1;
Darren Elkins defeated Hatsu Hioki via unanimous decision;
Jason High submitted James Head with a guillotine choke in R1;
Zak Cummings submitted Ben Alloway with a reversed triangle choke in R1;
Roger Bowling and Abel Trujillo ended in a No Contest after illegal shots from Trujillo.
