Gilbert Durinho may not have won the UFC 273, but left with full pockets. After earning more than R$230 with the “Fight of the Night” bonus for the duel against Khamzat Shimaev, the Brazilian received the news that, even though he lost, he will receive the combat victory bonus.

The revelation was made by Dana White during the post-event press conference. When answering a question about the performance of alexey oleynik in the preliminary card, the president of Ultimate changed the subject and declared that he would give the victory bonus to Gilbert Durinho.
"Wants to know? Totally off topic. I was thinking and I'm going to give Gilbert Burns the win bonus too. He will receive money from his presence and victory. This fight was ridiculous”, praised Dana White.
Gilbert Durinho was defeated by Khamzat Shimaev in the unanimous decision of the judges after a three-round “war” on the main card this Saturday (9). The duel received a lot of praise from Dana White, being defined by the president of Ultimate as “one of the most incredible fights ever seen”.
