With a renewed contract with PFL after a “soap opera”, Kayla harrison has a confirmed date and opponent to return to the organization's decagon. The two-time lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) faces Marina Mokhnatkina in the main fight of PFL 3, on May 6th.

The event will also mark the debut of another two-time champion of the event in the new season. Owner of two welterweight titles (up to 77 kg), Ray Cooper III face the Russian Magomed Umalatov, undefeated in professional MMA, in the co-main fight of the night.
In the lightweight division, former UFC champion Anthony Pettis seeks to erase the bad impression left last season and faces Myles Price, in a duel that would take place in the first PFL event of the year, but had to be rescheduled.
Closing the preliminary card, Rory McDonald seeks to recover from the two consecutive defeats suffered in 2021 and faces fellow veteran Brett Cooper.
“The May 6 event is expected to be one of the most action-packed regular season cards in PFL history. Can't wait to see the champions return Kayla harrison e Ray Cooper III, as well as elite fighters like Rory McDonald e Anthony Pettis begin their journey to the PFL Playoffs”, declared the organization’s president, Ray Sefo.
As usual, the preliminary card also features big names, such as Brazilians João Zeferino, Larissa pacheco, Gleison Tibau and Vanessa melo.
