Looking for his first victory in the UFC, Joanderson Tubarão faces Andre Fili on April 30th

Após ser derrotado em sua estreia no UFC, em janeiro, Joanderson Tubarão tem data marcada para tentar chegar a sua primeira vitória na organização. O brasileiro enfrenta André Fili, in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg), in an event scheduled for April 30, at the UFC Apex, in Las Vegas, in the United States. The fight was confirmed by Tubarão himself on social media.

At 27, Joanderson Tubarão estreou no Ultimate com derrota por decisão unânime contra Bill Algeo, in the organization's first event of the year, in January. The Maranhão native arrived at the UFC through the last season of the Contender Series, in 2021, and was on a streak of 12 unbeaten fights before the setback.

Much more experienced, André Fili has been competing in the UFC since 2013. A Team Alpha Male athlete, the American has nine wins and seven losses in the octagon and has not seen action since June 2021, when his fight against Daniel Pineda ended unsuccessfully due to an accidental poke in the eye.

The card on April 30th has as its main fight a duel between bantamweights (up to 61,2 kg) Rob font e Marlon Vera. Besides Joanderson Tubarão, o card ainda conta com Luana pinheiro measuring forces with Jessica penne in the strawweight division (up to 52,1 kg) and Daniel Miojo and Francisco Sniper starring in a Brazilian duel for flyweights (up to 56,7 kg).
