Unable to fight at the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, in June, due to being involved in a car accident on the day of the weigh-in, Ronny Markes already knows when he will return to the Octagon. The middleweight from Rio Grande do Norte will face the Cuban Yoel romero at UFC Fight Night 31, on November 6th.
Markes is undefeated in the UFC, fighting both as light heavyweight and middleweight, his current division. In his last performance, the potiguar beat Andrew Craig in the UFC Sao Paulo, in January 2013. Ronny has three wins in the same number of fights in the biggest MMA organization in the world.
Romero, silver medal in the wrestling at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, he debuted in the UFC in April, when he won the knockout of the night bonus against Clifford Starks, at UFC On FOX 7. This fight was also the Cuban's debut as a middleweight.
UFC Fight Night 31, also known as UFC Fight For The Troops 3, will be an event held on a military base in the United States and will feature a duel between Lyoto Machida and Tim Kennedy, US Army Special Forces sergeant.
