In an interview with the website “The Underground”, Gilbert Burns defined the duel against Khamzat Shimaev as a “high risk, high reward” challenge.

“The way I see it, the risk is very big, but the reward is also very big. A lot of people will be watching. Dana spoke, and I know his opinion may change, but he said that the winner of this fight can have a title shot. So it’s definitely worth facing this guy”, analyzed the Brazilian.

If I lose, I need a few more wins,” said Durinho.
