Jairzinho Rozenstruik questions Jon Jones' future in the heavyweight division: 'A lot of talk'

The Surinamese athlete was not very convinced about the former light heavyweight champion's rise in category and was ready for a possible duel in the future

Member of the heavyweight elite (up to 120,2kg), Jairzinho Rozenstruik doesn't seem confident that Jon Jones will be your division rival. In an interview with MMA Junkie, the Surinamese athlete said he had doubts about the former light heavyweight champion's (up to 93kg) move up in category and was willing to face a future confrontation.

"I don't know. It's so much talk, no action. I'm the stock guy, so we'll see when it goes up or not. I'll be there for a while and we'll see if I find him. If not, he does what he has to do and then good luck with what he’s going to do,” said Jairzinho.

Eighth placed in the category ranking, Rozenstruik is currently going through an irregular moment in his career. In his last five clashes, the heavyweight won just two victories and suffered three defeats, alternately. The Surinamese athlete has a record of 12 triumphs and three setbacks in professional MMA.
