The UFC card in Combate 3, which takes place on September 4th in Belo Horizonte, underwent new changes this Wednesday (21). According to the “MMA Fighting” website, after Johnny Bedford’s injury, Wilson reis is the new opponent of Hugo Wolverine at the event, held at Ginásio do Mineirinho.
Wilson is yet another Brazilian athlete to debut in the UFC. The 28-year-old fighter has already played for Bellator and had his most recent fight at the “Cage Warriors” event in December last year. The São Paulo native has a record of 16 wins and four losses. Reis is a training partner with Dominick Cruz and was even the jiu-jitsu coach of the bantamweight champion in The Ultimate Fighter 15.
UFC no Combate 3 takes place on September 4th, at Ginásio do Mineirinho, in Belo Horizonte (MG). In the main fight of the night, light heavyweight Glover Teixeira faces the North American Ryan bader. In the co-main event, former Strikeforce champion Ronaldo Jacare has Japanese Yushin Okami ahead.
