Ignored after requesting fights from the UFC, Nate Diaz goes public and asks to be released by the organization

Near the end of his contract with the company, 'bad boy' tries to force an exit and claims to have 'business to resolve' in another sphere

Among the most watched names in UFC history, Nate diaz is willing to end his relationship with the organization. After claiming to be in a hurry to carry out the last fight in his contract with the company and being ignored, the 'bad boy' took drastic action. Without a confirmed commitment, the athlete asked to be released by the organization.

Defeated by Leon edwards in his last performance, in June 2021, Nate was looking for a confrontation against Dustin poirier. The athletes had even signed a 'virtual agreement' to promote the clash.

Even with the athletes' intention of measuring strength in the octagon, Ultimate did not make the fight official. So far, both 'Diamante' and Diaz have no fights scheduled in the company.
