In a press conference held after the event, Alexa grasso she assured that she feels ready to fight for the category belt if the UFC gives her the opportunity.

“I hope so (she’s next in line for the belt). I saw that women in my division usually have four wins in a row before getting a title shot, so yeah, let's go. I'll be ready for whatever the UFC brings to me, because I work really hard. It would be a dream come true. I'm not injured now, so I'll go back to the gym, I'll keep training to be ready. Who knows,” said the Mexican.

Alexa grasso entered the Octagon ranked ninth in the flyweight rankings and won Joanne Wood, which occupied seventh position.
