Victim of aggression by Jorge in a restaurant in Miami, athlete reveals loss on luxury item

The confusion, earlier this week, involving Jorge masvidal e Colby covington seem to have left not just a lesion on the 'Chaos' tooth. According to the Miami Beach Police, responsible for the incident report, which confirmed the attack by 'Jesus das Ruas', the former interim UFC champion also suffered material damage. A watch valued at R$90 (around R$433) was also damaged in the fight.

The incident is an integral part of the rivalry between Ultimate's standouts. Masvidal and Covington were once best friends, but the relationship ended after Colby was released from American Top Team.

After becoming disaffected, it was common for fighters to exchange barbs via the press and social media. The UFC's solution, then, was to promote a clash between the welterweights (up to 77kg.).

The confrontation took place at UFC 272. In the clash, Jorge was unable to fulfill his promise of massacre and ended up dominated for around 25 minutes, losing with a unanimous decision by the judges.

Weeks after the setback against his former best friend, Masvidal continued to be provoked by his opponent and decided to act. Upon learning of Colby's whereabouts, the veteran went to a Miami restaurant and surprised Covington.

After the confusion, the former interim Ultimate champion filed complaints with the local police. As a result, Masvidal was arrested.
