After news of a fight between Jorge masvidal e Colby covington, which happened last Monday (21) and shocked the MMA community, new details came to light in a report from Colby covington to the police about the incident at a restaurant known as 'Papi Steak' located in Miami Beach, Florida (USA).

In the fight in question, Covington said he was attacked by Masvidal as he left the scene. According to 'Chaos', he did not expect the attack, which would have injured his mouth, left eye and rib. He also reported that he broke one of his teeth and accused his rival of being accompanied by three or four other unknown men. Masvidal would have started the chaos and, in addition to the accusation of assault and evidence of crimes, he could be arrested.
Covington added that he identified Masvidal by the sound of his voice, as well as recognizing his long hair coming out of a hood. O 'gamebred' would still be wearing a blue mask and would have been motivated by Colby's comments about his children, during a fight in UFC 272. The police obtained images from security cameras and are now evaluating the case.

Former friends, Masvidal and Covington began a series of provocations that increased after 'Chaos' left 'American Top Team'. The two fighters faced each other in the main event of the UFC 272 and, in a five-round fight, Colby dominated and won the judges' unanimous decision.
The wordplay, however, continued. And, in a post-fight interview, Jorge said that he still intended to resolve his disputes with his rival outside the cage, precisely because Covington had spoken about his children during the fight.
