According to TMZ, Covington participated in a dinner with members of a channel in YouTube. The group, which has more than seven million subscribers on the platform, is known for applying 'pranks'.

Moments before the chaos occurred, Colby had his images recorded at the scene of the incident. At the time, the individual who recorded the video treated the former interim UFC champion as the 'King of Miami', the city in which he also resides Jorge masvidal.

In the fight, the big promotion ended up not being fulfilled. During 25 minutes of combat, what was seen was broad dominance by Covington against his former best friends. To overcome his opponent, 'Chaos' used his excellent wrestling, nullifying Masvidal's sharp striking and taking victory by unanimous decision from the judges.
