After learning of McGregor's challenge to Usman, Dana does not rule out giving the Irishman a title shot

The 'double track' in gratitude between Dana White and Conor McGregor it seems to have no end. At the helm of the UFC for more than 20 years, the president surprised once again by stating that he can fulfill another of the Irishman's 'luxuries'. Upon learning of the recent challenge from 'Notório', Kamaru Usman, for the welterweight belt (up to 77kg.), the 'big boss' made no secret of the fact that the hypothesis is not dismissible.

“This fight with Usman is interesting. I hadn't heard about that yet. He (McGregor) is coming to (Las) Vegas. Let's get together and see what comes next. Any Conor fight is good in financial terms”, said White, in an interview with 'The Mac Life'.

Legend of figures in MMA, McGregor has not performed since July 2021. On that occasion, the organization's former double champion ended up beaten by Dustin poirier for the second time that season and, in addition to the stumble, he suffered a serious injury to his left ankle.

In recent months, the 'Notório' showed signs that he could return to action in a direct confrontation for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), in a challenge readily accepted by the current champion, Charles of the Bronx. The attack on Usman, however, shows signs that the Irishman has given up, for now, on returning to the division he led in 2016.

The highest-paid athlete in the world in 2021, Conor should return to MMA to try to prove himself in the sport. Today, the athlete suffers two consecutive setbacks, something unprecedented in his career so far.
