Leaving the UFC after five years as a company representative, Ramos has even more reasons to celebrate. In addition to the opportunity to return to fight after almost two years of inactivity, the athlete states that the financial aspect is more attractive than in his Ultimate days.

“I was offered something interesting. At the moment I am now, for the UFC, for me to reach these values, it would take a little longer. (…) I need to be valued. I have my story. I haven't received anything for a year and eight or nine months. I have my story with jiu-jitsu, where I can make money. I am not financially dependent on the UFC. That’s why I made the choice to wait so long (without playing for Ultimate)”, he concluded.

An icon of the 'gentle art', Davi has not fought since his stumble against Armam Tsarukyan, in July 2020. A professional in MMA since 10 years, the Brazilian currently has 10 triumphs and four setbacks in the sport.
