The fourth edition of the World Series Of Fighting, held last Saturday, brought an unusual situation. New Zealander Ray Sefo, president of the organization, was one of the fighters in the card. The boss earned the highest simple salary (not counting victory bonuses) among all the participants.
Sefo received US$30 for being knocked out by Dave Huckaba in the second round. Dutchman Tyrone Spong beat Angel DeAnda in the main fight and pocketed US$1 more than his boss, but US$9 were due to the victory bonus.
Among Brazilians from card, Marlon moraes received US$24, while Gesias Cavalcante received US$18 (both received half as a victory bonus) and Jorge Santiago received US$13 (no bonus for having been defeated by former UFC player Gerald Harris). American congenital amputee Nick Newell received the third highest salary of the night.
