UFC featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg), Alexander Volkanovsky He has always expressed his desire to have great fights in his career in MMA and, now, he highlighted that he 'dreams' of a fight against Conor McGregor. The Australian, who has already beaten names like José Aldo e Max Holloway, believes that beating the Irishman would be beneficial to enhance his legacy.

“He was a featherweight and former champion of the division. He's the only one left. I've already gone through (José) Aldo, Max (Holloway) and Conor (McGregor), so it makes a lot of sense. It would be a dream and I beat all the division champions. You talk about salary and everything. At the same time, speaking of legacy, he is also undefeated at featherweight. That would mean something,” Holloway said in an interview with 'James Lynch'.
In fact, Alexander states that he could move up two weight divisions – to welterweight (up to 77kg) – to make the duel happen. He, however, reveals that his focus is only on Korean zombie.
“If we fight, you do it at any weight. I would do it at welterweight if I had to, whatever. But at the same time, I'm calm. I’m only going to worry about Zumbi because Zumbi is in front of me now”, he concluded.
Considered, by many, as one of the greatest names in the history of featherweights (up to 65,7kg.), Alexander Volkanovsky has made a name for himself in Ultimate. Champion since December 2019, the Australian has a record of 23 positive results and only one negative, having beaten names like José Aldo, Chad Mendes, Max Holloway (2x) and Brian ortega.
