After having his film debut confirmed in “The Expendables 3”, Ronda Rousey You may have already secured your second role in Hollywood. According to the “MMA Fighting” website, the UFC women's bantamweight champion is negotiating her participation in the cast of the film “Fast and Furious 7”.
The character offered to Rousey in the film was not disclosed, but the information is that the fighter would play a secondary role in the plot. Another MMA muse who migrated to the big screen has also participated in “The Fast and the Furious”. Gina Carano, who in cinema has already starred in a film by acclaimed director Steven Soderbergh, participated in the sixth film in the series.
“Fast and Furious 7” is scheduled to premiere in July 2014. The film already has Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham in the cast. The film will be directed by Jason Wan, responsible for Saw (2004).
Before the release of “Fast and Furious 7”, or even “The Expendables 3”, Ronda Rousey has another important commitment in the Octagon. On December 28th, the champion of the women's bantamweight division defends her belt against her rival Miesha Tate at UFC 168. The duel also marks the meeting of the TUF 18 coaches.
