Last victims of Israel adesanya in Ultimate, Robert whittaker e Marvin vettori are close to being made official as their next opponents. According to reporter Ariel Helwani, from 'MMA fighting', the organization forwarded the clash between the middleweights (up to 83,9kg.) to the UFC 275, which takes place on June 11, in Las Vegas (USA). The athletes are looking for a 'shortcut' to regain their status as title challengers.

Last fighter to share the Octagon with the absolute Israel adesanya, Whittaker continues to dream of regaining the belt lost by the Nigerian in 2019. In February, the Australian had the opportunity to return the defeat suffered in the UFC 243, but ended up failing and overcoming the unanimous decision of the judges.
Like Robert, Vettori also wants a new reckoning with the champion. Beaten on two occasions by the Nigerian, the Italian came from a stumble against the 'king of the group' in a clash held in June 2021. On that occasion, the Italian was also beaten by points.
To reach Adesanya, Whittaker had to go through major tests in the organization. The fighter regained his status as a challenger after defeating three opponents and delivering convincing performances. Victim of Israel in 2018, in a balanced confrontation, Marvin also had to 'sweat' to get a rematch. There were five consecutive victories.
While the Australian has Adesanya as his last opponent, Vettori had already begun his redemption process. In October 2021, the Italian returned to the octagon and overcame Paulo borrachinha, in a real battle.
Currently, Whittaker occupies first place in the group's ranking. Marvin, in turn, is in third.
Robert whittaker x Marvin vettori at UFC 275 on June 11 isn't a done deal just yet, but it's “very close,” I'm told.
