This Tuesday (6), the Ultimate organization announced that Ross Pearson and Melvin Guillard will take part in the co-main fight of UFC Fight Night 30, in Manchester, England. Like the main combat, between Michael Bisping and Mark Muñoz, the fight also pits a local athlete against an American face to face.
Ross Pearson, 28 years old, is one of the main British athletes currently in the UFC – alongside Bisping himself. The Englishman has a record of 15 wins and six losses and comes from two consecutive victories, over George Sotiropoulos and Ryan Couture. Melvin Guillard, 30 years old, has a record of 30 wins, 12 losses, two draws and one fight without result. After two consecutive defeats in Ultimate, the North American beat Mac Danzig on July 27th.
UFC Fight Night 30 takes place on October 26th, at Manchester Arena, in Manchester, England. The main fight of the night puts two athletes face to face top-10 in the middleweight category: the Englishman Michael Bisping and the American of Filipino descent Mark Muñoz.
