Remaining firm to the stance adopted after UFC Rio 4, the Brazilian Lyoto Machida continues to desire a new encounter with Phil Davis – his executioner, in a controversial decision by the judges, last Saturday (3). According to “UFC Tonight”, the organization's official newspaper on North American cable TV, Lyoto wants a five-round rematch against Davis.
After the defeat, the former light heavyweight champion harshly criticized the judges' decision. “I'm in shock. I do not agree with this result. I'm very dissatisfied with the rules of MMA, or the rules of the referees. I think they are not preparing adequately to judge the fights. If the UFC allows me, I want a rematch against Phil Davis, because I want to prove that I can beat him”, he said at the press conference.
In addition to the fighter himself, other sports figures questioned the result of the fight between Lyoto and Davis. The light heavyweight champion Jon Jones stated, at Twitter, that the fight was “difficult to evaluate”. Also on the microblogging network, UFC president Dana White questioned the judges' decision. "Wow! For me, Machida had won all three rounds, but that's what happens when you leave (the result) in the hands of the judges!”, stated the director.

Machida, you are a tough guy. He wants a rematch and he still wants to choose: in 5 rounds. Go to Bellator, Jungle Fight or similar because in the UFC no one can tolerate your escapes in the cage anymore.
The fight was tough, difficult to evaluate, however, in my opinion, Lyoto won all three rounds...another situation would be a victory for Lyoto by split decision...any other decision like this, I consider it a mistake.
I agree with lyoto; I thought the result was doubtful, he does deserve a rematch and I'm sure he will win.
