After victory over Masvidal, Covington provokes ATT and says: 'I'm ready to face two'

Anyone who thought that the rivalry between Colby covington e Jorge masvidal (and the entire American Top Team) would cease at the end of the main fight of the UFC 272, last Saturday (5). After dominating and defeating his rival, “Chaos” kept his line sharp and attacked his opponent and his former gym, American Top Team.

At the post-fight press conference, Colby covington denied having any surprise with the game presented by Jorge masvidal and said he was ready to fight five more rounds with his ex-best friend in the parking lot.

“I wasn’t surprised by anything. Another dominant win, I kicked his ass from the opening second until the 25th minute. You could see from the body language he had nothing left to fight for. I was ready for five more rounds in the parking lot,” assured Covington.

Covington's provocations were not limited to his victim in the UFC 272. The American attacked American Top Team, the gym where he trained for a long time, but had a troubled exit. The former interim welterweight champion said he was ready to face two fighters from the team on the same night.

“Bring another guy, American Trash Team. They keep sending guys my way, but don't expect to get them back in one piece. I'm ready to face two of these guys in one night. The King of Miami showed up tonight,” teased Covington.
