One of the great consecration awards for an athlete is to join the select list of the Ultimate ‘Hall of Fame’ for their achievements in the Octagon. And, in UFC 272 last Saturday (5), the former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was introduced among the best fighters in the organization's history.

However, apparently, the important brand did not change its mood. According to UFC president, Dana White, the Russian looked like he had ‘few friends’. He believes that the night may have been affected by the defeat of the former athlete’s ‘pupil’, Tagir Ulanbekov, in the clash against Tim Elliott on the preliminary card of the event.

“He was in a bad mood tonight. I don't know what happened, he can say better. Maybe he could be involved with the victory of Tim Elliott (about the ‘pupil’ Tagir Ulanbekov), but I didn't talk to him about it. I don’t know,” White said.

Former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg.), Khabib had enviable success in his career in MMA. While he was in action, the Russian fought and won 29 fights in his career, with highlights being triumphs against Dustin poirier, Conor McGregor, Justin gaethje e Rafael dos Anjos. He retired in October 2020 and has since served as a coach and is president of the ‘Eagle F.C.'.
