After the victory over “Korean zombie” Jung Chang-Sung at UFC Rio 4, the head coach José Aldo, Dedé Pederneiras, decided to vent about the featherweight champion's former opponent at the event, Anthony Pettis. On the radio program “Mundo da Luta”, Dedé raised suspicions about the injury that removed Pettis from the fight against Aldo.

“I'm praying that the Anthony Pettis win the lightweight belt and fulfill the challenge of fighting at featherweight, as Dana White suggested, dropping the belt and coming to face Aldo in his category. For me, he wasn't hurt at all. He saw that he wasn’t going to make weight, that it wasn’t as easy as he thought”, said the coach.

Number one challenger in the lightweight category, Anthony Pettis counted on his luck after getting injured and losing the fight against José Aldo. “Showtime” took the place left by TJ Grant, also injured, and will now face Ben henderson for the lightweight title. The fight, which is a rematch of the confrontation held in the last event of the now-defunct WEC, takes place at UFC 164, on August 31, in Milwaukee (USA).
