Alex Cowboy starts well, but is knocked out by Kevin Holland and has trouble in the UFC

Couldn't Alex Cowboy. First Brazilian representative on the main card of the UFC 272, an event held this Saturday (5), the Rio native started well, but felt the pressure of a knockout from Kevin holland in the second round. As a result, he is in a delicate situation – with four consecutive defeats – and is at risk of dismissal from Ultimate.

Now, Cowboy can't get back on the path to triumph. The veteran felt the 'bitter taste' of the 12th setback, while he also has 22 wins, one draw and two 'unsuccessful' fights.

Holland, who made his debut at welterweight (up to 77kg), starts off on the right foot in the division led by Kamaru Usman. In his career, there are now 22 positive results, seven negative results and one draw.

The fight

Holland started the fight by combining low and waist kicks, while Cowboy tried to find the distance. The two fighters went 'in fight', with frank boxing exchanges. In one of the moments, Alex blocked his opponent's attempt and came in with a direct shot that knocked Kevin off balance. He even threw a low kick and took away the North American's base. Then, however, the Trailblazer rocked the Brazilian with a cross. In the final seconds, Cowboy still looked for a rear naked choke, but was mocked by Holland, who waved his thumb that he was 'alive' in the fight.

However, in the second round, everything changed. Holland returned with aggressive momentum and threw a 'kick' with a right that knocked Cowboy down. The American needed more punches from above before the referee stopped him.
