Willing to train Felipe Prior, Esquiva Falcão gives his opinion on a possible duel: 'He beats Pyong'

Close to competing for the IBF (International Boxing Federation) middleweight belt, Esquiva Falcão has also become a hot name for the new wave of events that mix fighting and entertainment in Brazil. After winning the duel against Yuri Fernandes in the 1st edition of the Fight Music Show, in January this year, the Olympic medalist now also plans to participate in a well-known rivalry. Opponents in the historic BBB 20, Felipe Prior and Pyong Lee have been exchanging provocations on social media with an eye on a possible confrontation in the ring, and the boxer from Espírito Santo has already chosen his side in this clash.

“I'm a friend of Prior and I invited him to be his coach. He wins this fight, he has the advantage due to his height, wingspan, and if he trains correctly, he's good. He is a focused, determined guy. My bet is on him,” said Esquiva.

A high-level athlete and accustomed to intense training, the charismatic boxer already envisions the best camp for the architect, who became known for his strategic way of playing on the most famous reality show in Brazil.

“First, he needs to learn the moves, the base. I will teach sequences, combinations, ideal movement. And a lot of physical preparation, to last six rounds fighting calmly. We’re going to work on hard strikes, at long range, taking advantage of his characteristics”, analyzed the boxer.

Coming off a victory against Canadian Patrice Volny, in November 2021, Esquiva Falcão has plans to fight for the middleweight world title against the very tough Kazakh Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin, the Triple G, in mid-October. While the duel does not take place, the Brazilian boxer intends to fight in April and does not rule out new performances, especially in the next editions of the Fight Music Show. Dodge even already has a defined target to face.

"Against Yuri, who was a warrior, I put on a show, showed the crowd boxing and knocked him out. It was a success. Just call me and I'll participate again. One fight I would like to do would be against Malvino Salvador (actor). He trains boxing, jiu-jitsu and the whole of Brazil knows him. He’s an amazing guy and I would love to have a fight with him”, revealed Esquiva.
