Excited after his second consecutive victory in Ultimate, the Brazilian Wellington Turman He did not hide his joy at the good times he is experiencing. In an interview with 'Combate' after the UFC Las Vegas 49, which took place last Saturday (26), the Tupiniquim middleweight (up to 83,9kg) said he was experiencing the best phase of his career, credited his triumphs to changing gyms and projected winning the belt in 'two or three years '.

"I am really happy. I arrived at the academy, in Connecticut (USA), at the worst stage of my career and now I am at the best stage of my career, with two consecutive victories. And that's just the beginning. We work very hard, I try very hard. I'm young, I'm training with the best, with Fernely (Feliz Jr), with Glover, (Alex) Poatan, Plínio (Cruz), so there's no way around it, now it's all up,” said Turman.

Even on the back of two victories, the Brazilian recognizes that he needs to evolve in some aspects of his game, but he projects that, with enough training, he will be able to win the belt in two or three years.

“For now, I want to stay calm, I want to go back to the gym. I know it's cool to do this trash talk, but I want to evolve, I want to train more, I have a long way to go. I can still train a lot so that in two or three years I can get the belt like Glover”, concluded the middleweight.
