The fight

Wellington Turman surprised and, in the opening seconds, sought the takedown against Misha Curkunov. The Brazilian was quick, developed his game behind his opponent's back and even had a rear-naked choke locked in. However, the Latvian recovered from the position and, from above, landed good blows on the Curitiba native until the final seconds.

In the second round, the result. After a frank exchange, Turman managed to recover from a fall and, with a quick armbar, he just waited for Cirkunov's 'three slaps' to win in Ultimate.
