Promise of women's MMA at featherweight (up to 65,7kg), Leah McCourt showed a lot of heart in her presentation at the Bellator 275. One of the stars of the co-main fight of the show, held this Friday (25), in Dublin (IRL), the athlete promoted moments of agony when she refused to give up, having a Kimura boxed in by Sinead Kavanagh in the first round . In the images (see below), it is possible to see Leah 'doing it' to try to get out of the position imposed by Kavanagh. While her rival exerted strength and alternated the levers on her arm, McCourt contorted herself so that the attack would not be fatal.

After a few seconds, what seemed impossible happened. Leah managed to free herself, driving the audience at the 3Arena crazy.

Even setting an example of overcoming, the Northern Irish athlete was unable to leave the cage with a positive result. After three rounds, the fighter was defeated by unanimous decision.
