With no fight scheduled, Dominick Cruz 'answers' Petr Yan and reaffirms interest in facing José Aldo

North American accepts suggestion from interim champion and wants to fight Brazilian for his next UFC appearance

If it depends on Dominick Cruz, the UFC will promote a 'meeting of legends' at one of its events. Former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), the North American agreed to the suggestion of a fight Petr yan and reaffirmed the desire to measure forces against José Aldo in your next presentation at the organization.

“I agree with you, champion”, replied Cruz on his official 'Twitter' after Petr yan say that the confrontation should be scheduled to take place soon.

The response even drew attention to Dominick's delay in reacting to the fight proposed by Petr yan, who suggested the fight in December 2021. The North American appeared to indicate that he is still attentive to the movement of the roosters, as well as expressing his desire to test himself against Aldo.

Cruz, who is considered by many to be the best bantamweight in the history of Ultimate, had a great performance against Peter Munhoz in his last performance. The athlete was scared in the first round, but managed to recover and beat the Brazilian on points. The veteran currently occupies seventh place in the division rankings.

If the moment is good for Cruz, the same can be said about José Aldo. Featherweight legend (up to 65,7kg.), the 'People's Champion' has won three consecutive victories in a row. In his last commitment, at the beginning of December, Manauara overcame the dangerous Rob font and kept his dream of fighting, once again, for the bantamweight title alive.
