Former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey made her second appearance in WWE in the 2022 season. Back in action after giving birth to La'akea Makalapuaokalanipõ Browne, the fighter innovated and took to the ring wearing a kimono, reminiscent of her judoka days. The athlete was the star of the 'Elimination Chambe', held last Saturday (19), in Saudi Arabia. After the fight, the athlete celebrated the moment and revealed inspiration from a Brazilian MMA legend.

In her WWE appearance, the former UFC champion performed a tag team challenge and was partnered with Trinity Fatu, known as Naomi. The fighters faced Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville. The outcome was in the best 'Ronda style', overcoming her rival with a submission.
One of the figures responsible for the evolution of women's MMA, Rousey has a history with the gi. While Gracie became the first champion of the UFC tournament in 1993, Ronda, 'in the background', was a bronze medalist at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, competing in judo.
In mixed martial arts, the American made history by becoming the first UFC bantamweight champion. In the company, the athlete remained undefeated in six fights, until being dethroned by Holly holmIn 2015.
