Owner of the 'American Top Team' gym, Dan Lambert spoke about the departure of Amanda nunes to create your new team. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the leader decided not to argue, supported the 'Leoa's' decision and revealed that the possible departure could be linked to the Brazilian's desire to become a coach after ending her career.

“As long as it’s something beneficial for us and the fighter, we do great things together. But if it's no longer good for us and someone has to move on, we have an 'open door' policy, because if someone doesn't want to be in the gym, they don't go to the gym. And Amanda (Nunes) decided that she would like to start her preparation in a new place and be a coach. Maybe it's something she wants to establish after she retires. She has my support and I hope she does well,” declared Dan.

The Brazilian, next to 'American Top Team', made history in women's MMA. In the gym, she won the titles in the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) and featherweight (up to 65,7kg) categories. In the second, Amanda is still at the absolute top of the division. The 'Lioness' is considered, by many, as the greatest fighter in the history of the sport.

The start of Nunes' new preparation for a confrontation will be immediate. The combatant will be one of the coaches of the 30th of the 'The Ultimate Fighter' and, at the end of the season, will face Julianna Pena, responsible for dethroning the 'Leoa' in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg.).
