Initially scheduled for February 19th, the duel between Rafael dos Anjos e Raphael Fiziev needed to be postponed. According to reporter Ariel Helwani from 'MMA fighting', the athlete from Kyrgyzstan had a problem with his visa and will not be able to enter the United States. The match was rescheduled for the co-main event of the UFC 272, on 5 March.

Originally from Kyrgyzstan, Fiziev is currently training in Thailand and reportedly had problems with his work visa to enter the United States. The fight was scheduled to be the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 48, scheduled for February 19th, however, Ultimate acted quickly and rescheduled the co-main fight of the UFC 272, which will be on March 5th. The organization's idea is that the clash is scheduled for five rounds.
With the departure of 'Dos Anjos x Fiziev', the duel between Johhny Walker and Jamahal hill, valid in the light heavyweight division, will be the new main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 48.
