Nothing done. After Israel adesanya, it was the turn to Kamaru Usman reject any type of negotiation for a super fight against his friend. In an interview with Jim Rome, the UFC welterweight champion (up to 77kg) explained why he is not considering facing 'Izzy'. The Ultimate star, however, stated that, for a 'scary' amount, he would change his mind.

“I've said this before: Adesanya is a fellow Nigeria player, a great guy. I like him, the way he is. I prefer two Nigerians with belts to one with two titles,” he said.

Since nothing is impossible, Usman came up with the only plan that would make him go back. The athlete asked for an astronomical amount for the confrontation to get off the ground.

“If Dana (White) wants a meeting and says, 'US$100 million (more than R$500 million), let's split it.' In this context, Israel and I would start the conversation. Under these conditions, my little brother, my blood brother, we would talk and say: 'let's go and make some money”, he concluded.

At a great stage in his career, Usman leads the UFC weight-for-pound rankings. Adesanya, in turn, continues to collect victims in the middleweight division (up to 93kg) and expand his legacy in the category.
