Danilo Marques and seven other fighters receive up to six months of medical suspension after UFC Las Vegas 47

Brazilian was surpassed by fellow countryman Jailton Malhadinho on the preliminary card of last Saturday's event (5)

First Ultimate event in February, the UFC Las Vegas 47, held last Saturday (5), may have left eight fighters away from the Octagon for a long time. According to the medical suspensions from the event, published by the website “mixedmartialarts.com”, Danilo Marques is among the eight athletes who could be away from competition for up to six months.

In addition to the Brazilian, the following fighters received up to six months of hooking: Punahele Soriano, Sam alvey, Michael Trizano, Alexis Davis, Julija Stoliarenko, Philip Rowe and Denys Bondar. The eight athletes need medical clearance to return before six months, but are ineligible to fight before March.

PUBLICITY:

Sean Strickland e Jack hermansson, who faced each other in the main event of the event, received milder suspensions. The Swedish-Danish will be away for two months, while the North American, who won the duel, could return at the end of February.

Michael Trizano: needs an X-ray on his ribs, if positive he needs medical clearance, or no fight until August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 8th, no contact until February 27th.

Marc-Andre Barriault: Suspended until April 7th, no contact until March 23rd.

Alexis Davis: needs an X-ray on his left elbow, if positive, he needs medical clearance or no fighting until August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 23, no contact until March 8.

Julija Stoliarenko: needs medical clearance for left jaw or no fight by August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 23, no contact until March 8.

Danilo Marques: needs shoulder X-ray and be cleared by a doctor or without fighting by August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 8th, no contact until February 27th.

Jason Witt: suspended until March 23, no contact until March 8 – left ear laceration.

Philip Rowe: needs an MRI on his right knee, if positive he needs to be released by the orthopedist or without fighting until August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 8th, no contact until February 27th.

Denis Bondar: needs orthopedist clearance for left elbow or no fight by August 5th; minimum suspension no fight until March 23, no contact until March 8.
