After making his return to boxing at the event 'Fight Music Show’, Rogério Minotouro was satisfied with his performance. The former UFC fighter revealed that he had just 20 days to prepare for the clash against Leonardo 'Leleco' Guimarães' and said he was happy with his performance at the event on January 30th.

“I only had 20 days of preparation. If I'm not mistaken, I had four sparring partners for this fight, 'zeroing' the gas. I knew it would be a very tough fight, against a younger guy, very strong, who was coming at the pace. It was a great fight, a great spectacle”, said Minotouro.
Excited about the success of the event, the brother of Rodrigo Minotauro compared the spectacle with the big cards that the UFC holds in Las Vegas (USA).
“It reminded me of the atmosphere of Las Vegas. Brazil has a certain lack of an event of this level, of international standard. It was a party, a packed show. I lived through the beginning of Pride, the UFC and now it's a different phase of my career. Returning to boxing after so many years is a gift from God for me”, concluded Rogério.
An MMA professional for almost 20 years, Minotouro retired in July 2020, after the defeat in the trilogy with Mauricio Shogun. Rogério hung up his gloves with a record of 23 triumphs and 10 setbacks. Working for amateur boxing, the athlete from Bahia also won a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Rio in 2007.
